Hi, I’m Annie Jones, and I can't say that I'm the inventor the Majestic Hair Flower design, but I did improve upon the design that I was taught. We are a family business. It all started about 10 years ago when my family and I left Bayfield Colorado and started doing Renaissance Festivals. Bethany and Justin (my children) were teenagers and I started out reading Tarot and Astrology at the faires. Not long into our first season I began apprenticing with David Notestine and Crown Jewels. Working with David and Gail I learned how to make the most wonderful Hair accessory in the world, the Majestic Hair Flower. With its roots in antiquity, this beautiful hair adornment works to make pony tail holder and bun shapes. More that 20 different hairstyles are possible all together, just by changing the shape of the Majestic Hair Flower. It moves and twists and turns making more than 60 shapes all together. It even tells the story of the universe.

My husband, John, and I went out on our own after about 3 years. We started small and as the kids grew up, we grew. We did make some changes, I think for the better. Most notibly we use a little heavier wire for the construction of the hair flower itself, use our own guides and make our own glass beads for the stems. Bethany and Justin's Wife, Jennifer, still do several shows a year. John and I have pared down because I want to have a garden and goats. My whole family has worked with us at one time or another or still does.
